01:16 If you are planting a lot of carrots, it is helpful to use a common garden seeder. This device allows you to put the carrot seeds in a hopper and it will automatically seed a nice strip of carrots as you push it along the ground.

01:42 Carrots should be watered about once a week throughout the growing season and kept as weed-free as possible. Carrots do not provide much sunlight protection against weeds.
