You will need a raised garden bed, compost, sheep pellets, vegetable mix, seaweed tonic, pea straw mulch, Tui Quash, seedlings or fruit plants, stakes or ties for tepees, and other garden staples.

Dig in compost and sheep pellets to boost the nutrients in the soil. Add a layer of vegetable mix and then a layer of pea straw spread over the whole area.

In section 1, plant 2 rows of spring onions and 3 coriander plants. In sections 2 and 6, plant 2 tomato plants each and add stakes for support. Plant 2 basil plants in each of those areas. In section 3, create a teepee using stakes and plant sweet peas around the base. In section 4, plant 2 rows of mesclun, 2 rows of spinach, and 2 capsicum plants in section 5. Optional: scatter marigold plants throughout for more color and insect deterrence.

Scatter some Tui Quash around the garden bed to stop slugs and snails. Make sure to water well.
