This Was a Hard One... || VLOG 17 || Gardening, Baking, & My Recent Favs!

I am the only one using the laundry room and the linen closets, so I thought why not make it a little bit more fun. I felt like life is too short to not paint your laundry room pink, and if I hated it, I could just paint it another color in a few years.

Originally I was just going to buy some window boxes, but then I saw a lady on YouTube who designs window boxes and thought my husband could make those for me. We worked together; he did most of the work, and then I filled them with full Sun loving flowers.

Due to the addition of window boxes and the necessity for regular watering, I realized the need for a watering can. As I was going to run some errands and it was midday and hot, I decided to look for a watering can during those errands.

Some of my summer favorites include a new hat from Amazon with a wire in the brim, a selection of wooden utensils inspired by a minimalist vlogger from Japan, Airspun powder, a L'Oreal self-tanner spray, a scalp scrubber for better hair growth, and finally, a free cleaning routine app called FlyLady Plus.

I highly recommend author Maeve Binchy for summer reads. Her books are lighthearted, often funny, and sometimes touching, following a cast of characters with interconnected stories. They are available on my library app, and I've been enjoying reading them throughout this time.

I've been using Aveeno Baby zinc oxide sunscreen which is healthier due to fewer chemicals compared to regular sunscreen. This particular sunscreen provides good protection and is based on the recommendations of a website that measures the toxicity of sunscreen products.

The vlogger shares small personal achievements like when her hair feels healthier or when she tries on new clothes, and shows her husband to get his feedback and share her excitement. He is always supportive and encouraging, even though he might not share the same level of personal interest.
