Mittleider Gardening Method: Winter Garden Week 12

🌱 The winter garden is transitioning into the spring garden with tomato plants and other plants being planted in two weeks.

🌱 Brussels sprouts and bok choy are still growing great and being harvested twice a week.

🌱 Cabbage and broccoli have been harvested to make sauerkraut, which is amazingly good.

🌱 Beets are still growing and getting quite large, not ready to harvest yet.

🌱 Onions are doing well and there is one Brussels sprout plant left to see if it will mature.

🌱 Strawberries are coming on strong and all the plants are producing strawberries in various stages.

🌱 Creating a canopy with plastic or fabric over the plants has been the best thing for the garden, protecting them from the elements.

🌱 The sugar snap peas are growing well with the first blossom appearing, and they are over four feet tall, with thick stalks and good color.
