How to Save your orchids with a Garlic Tonic .

Garlic tonic is used as a remedy for fungus and insects and as a general tonic for the health of plants.

To make garlic tonic, you need 10 grams of garlic (two cloves) and 200 mL of water. You smash the garlic and let it sit in the water for 24 to 48 hours before use.

It is recommended to use distilled water at room temperature for making garlic tonic. Tap water may contain extra salts and chlorine that can reduce the efficacy of the sulfur in garlic.

Garlic tonic can be applied to plants by wiping the top and undersides of the leaves with a soaked cotton wool. It can also be diluted and sprayed onto the plants using a spray bottle.

Garlic tonic helps with the anti-fungal properties of plants, increases root growth, inhibits spore germination of fungus, kills algae, and provides additional nutrients such as nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. However, it is important to avoid overusing garlic tonic as it can be detrimental to plant growth.
