Gardening at Our Mountain Homestead

🌧️ Unfortunately, the speaker waited until the last day to take a video of the homestead, and it's raining.

☔ Despite being busy with her son's visit, the speaker and her son had a great time hiking and catching up on old times.

🌿 The speaker owns quite a bit of land, including a garden, a street beyond, a hill, a mountainside, and about two acres behind the cabin.

🌺 The speaker's garden includes a tulip magnolia, a strawberry vanilla hydrangea, a rhododendron, daffodils, chamomile, tomato plants, pepper plants, and a big banana pepper.

🥦 The speaker also planted okra, but she plans to let only the biggest one survive.

🎣 She is considering renting a piece of property across the street with power lines for gardening.

🌸 The speaker is excited about her husband's retirement next August and hopes to write about renting the property then.

🌳 The speaker's property goes up the mountain and extends further up a road.
