00:19 Donna explains that the best time to propagate geraniums is in the spring and that you want to use cuttings that are four to six inches long with several nodes or leaf junctures.

00:26 Donna shows prepared pots with a lightweight seedling and cutting mix and creates a hole in it for the cutting.

00:37 Donna chooses a stem with several leaves or nodes and makes a nice clean cut, removing the flowers and lower leaves.

01:19 Donna inserts the cutting about two to three inches into the pot and packs the soil gently around it, then waters it.
