Some herbs, like parsley and chives, can tolerate more shade, while others, like basil and thyme, prefer full sun. Mint is recommended to be grown in a pot, as it can spread easily.

It is important to ensure proper watering of the plants and to choose containers that provide enough space for the plants to grow. Mint, for example, should be grown in a pot to contain its spread.
